When designing presentations, policy arguments and statistics aside, make sure you don’t bore your audience. That’s why in these examples, we engaged our audience with visuals — the art in the art of the pitch.
We start with a strong opener that grabs the attention of our audience. We pique their interest to what we have to say.
Less is definitely more. We make sure our audience is able to understand and follow what we’re saying. So we don’t cram too much information into our slides and focus on delivering our key points in a clear and concise manner.
People are visual creatures who process information better when presented, as in our cases, by layers of motion graphics including vivid backgrounds and animated text. (To achieve even more, we often pushed the technology behind the presentation software.)
Combined with impactful images, an inviting graphic design (for instance from our VIMN style guide in the presentations below), and video, you now have our art of the pitch.
