For Catholic Relief Services, I designed and managed production of their APSA (Annual Public Summary of Activities). This annual report was developed as web pages, PDF and printed piece. The three media covered the ways recipients could access information — browser, email, and snail mail. This strategy specifically addressed the technical realties and limitations of an aid group — CRS Sudan — headquartered in East Africa.
The unconventional print design was a first for CRS. The graphic design — its asymmetry, scale changes and colorfulness — purposely captured readers’ attention while challenging them to review the information and not just glance over it.
Lastly, to emphatically associate the CRS brand with this important work in Southern Sudan, their logo appears throughout either by itself or in images.
