Sometimes a project requires something out of the norm, something guerilla.

MTV came to us with a unique request – to provide an online way for staff to design their own business card. Their name, title and other pertinent information would be printed on one side, an image of their choosing on the other masked within the MTV logo according to their latest style guide.

Our design for the look and feel of Your MTV Business Card mimicked other MTV properties. But the users’ experience was one of a kind.

The web app was organized as an assembly-line process: pick your image, input your information, verify your design and finally send to your manager for approval.

The home screen where you pick your image was designed as three horizontal bands: navigation, display area of the design with tools, and how to pick your image.

This visual design and dynamic UI fit the MTV culture perfectly —- cutting edge and fun.
